On December 7, 2024, Rep. Graves commemorated the anniversary of Pearl Harbor with a tribute to those who served during that time. He stated: "83 years ago, the attack on Pearl Harbor shook our nation but also awakened an unyielding spirit of courage and unity. Today, we honor those who sacrificed everything and the resilience of the Greatest Generation."
On December 9, 2024, he expressed his joy over the restoration of two iconic structures: Notre-Dame Cathedral and Tiger Stadium. He tweeted: "What a blessing to welcome Notre-Dame back to life. This and Tiger Stadium. Two heavenly structures."
Later that day, Rep. Graves acknowledged his visit with U.S. Marine Corps personnel stationed at the U.S Embassy in Paris by saying: "Also pretty cool to hang with the USMC security detachment at the US Embassy in Paris. Thanks for your service!"
