There were two American Indian students enrolled in Office of Juvenile Justice School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Office of Juvenile Justice School District welcomed 189 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 1.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.

Office of Juvenile Justice School District roughly covers schools within East Baton Rouge Parish and has a main office in Baton Rouge.

Among the three schools in Office of Juvenile Justice School District, Riverside Alternative High School and Southside Alternative High School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of one student.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.
