There was one American Indian student enrolled in Louisiana Schools for the Deaf and Visually Impaired District schools in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Louisiana Schools for the Deaf and Visually Impaired District welcomed 155 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.6% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the district.
