There were 129 Hispanic students enrolled in Zachary Community School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 18.3% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Zachary Community School District welcomed 5,503 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 2.3% of the student body to be the fourth most represented ethnicity in the district.

Zachary Community School District roughly covers schools within East Baton Rouge Parish and has a main office in Zachary.

Among the eight schools in Zachary Community School District, Zachary High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 33 students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
