There were 20 Asian students enrolled in West Baton Rouge Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that West Baton Rouge Parish School District welcomed 4,167 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 0.5% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the district.

West Baton Rouge Parish School District roughly covers schools within West Baton Rouge Parish and has a main office in Port Allen.

Among the 12 schools in West Baton Rouge Parish School District, Brusly High School and Brusly Upper Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of four students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
