There were 1,558 Asian students enrolled in East Baton Rouge Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that East Baton Rouge Parish School District welcomed 41,418 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 3.8% of the student body to be the fourth most represented ethnicity in the district.

East Baton Rouge Parish School District roughly covers schools within East Baton Rouge Parish and has a main office in Baton Rouge.

Among the 94 schools in East Baton Rouge Parish School District, Baton Rouge Magnet High School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 328 students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
