In the 2022-23 school year, 51.9% of students enrolled in West Feliciana Parish schools were male, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

There were 2,204 students in the halls of West Feliciana Parish schools, comprising 1,144 male students (51.9%) and 1,060 female pupils (48.1%).

During the previous school year, West Feliciana Parish’s student body consisted of 50.6% male and 49.4% female.

Across the state, 51.1% of students were male and 48.9% were female.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students in Louisiana, which is worse than the national average of one teacher for every 16 students. A higher student-to-teacher ratio has been found to negatively impact students' school performance.
