East Baton Rouge Parish School District had the highest enrollment among East Baton Rouge Parish districts, welcoming 41,418 students during the 2021-22 academic year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Out of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.4% of them were boys, and 49.6% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were Black or African American, representing 70.2% of the East Baton Rouge Parish School Districts total enrollment.

Among the 11 districts in East Baton Rouge Parish, Zachary Community School District ranked second in enrollment numbers with 5,503 students, while Central Community School District welcomed 4,865 students to be ranked third in the 2021-22 school year.
