The majority of students in Pointe Coupee Parish districts were Black or African American in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Of the 2,646 students attending schools in the Pointe Coupee Parish district, 56% were Black or African American. White students were the second largest ethnicity in the Pointe Coupee Parish district (38.1%).
