Enrollment at Thrive Academy School District increased by 7.6% compared to previous school year

There were 183 students enrolled in Thrive Academy School District in the 2021-22 school year, 7.6% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 55.7% of them were boys, and 44.3% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were Black or African American, representing 85.8% of the Thrive Academy School District total enrollment.

Thrive Academy School District covers approximately one school within East Baton Rouge Parish, with its main office in Baton Rouge.

Thrive Academy is the only school in the district, with 183 students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021-22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
