Who: Terral C. Jackson, Jr. and Chris Johnson 

What: The C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Summer Series comes to North Ardenwood (Mall City). The series is focused on bringing our community together. There will be food, music, resources and fun.

Heal the Block

What: Baton Rouge Community Street Team, A.G.I.L.E Planning Solutions, Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome, and Summer of Hope present: Heal the Block! FREE community celebration focused on restoring joy and unity in neighborhoods affected by violence through conflict resolution and resources. There will be food, music, activities, and community resources. Heal the Block events are scheduled on several Saturdays as part of Summer of Hope.

Levitt Amp Baton Rouge Music Series: For Our People

What: Levitt Amp Baton Rouge is a FREE 10-week music series featuring live performances, local vendors, artists and creators. Scotland Saturdays and the Levitt Foundation presents the Levitt Amp Live Music Festival Series in the Scotlandville Plaza.

When: Saturday 5PM–9PM, July 8, 2023

Capitol High Block Party & Alumni Basketball

What: Capitol Senior High School Alumni Association presents the Community Block Party and Alumni Basketball Game. All Community Members, Alumni and prospective students are invited for food, family and fun. Student Registration assistance will be available on-site.
