How many patents granted in Baton Rouge in week ending June 27?

There were four patents granted in Baton Rouge in the week ending June 27, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

This is four more than the week before. Patents included a systems, apparatus, and methods for integrating and streamlining the process of issuing citations while simultaneously enhancing security of law enforcement officers (leos).

The earliest patent filed which was granted in the week ending June 27 belonged to Premier Concrete Products, Inc. who filed in August 27, 2019.

The number of approved patents in the U.S. grew steadily from roughly 225,000 in 2009 to more than 285,000 in 2019. The number of patents approved suffered a slight downturn in 2020.

Gene Quinn with IPWatchdog said the system underneath patents have become unwieldy, specifically for medical innovations.
