Cost of college went up for all students at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University

Tuition and fees rose 4.1 percent for 2018-19 at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $13,287 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $523 more than the $12,764 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 95 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 70 students received grants or scholarships totaling $682,866 and 40 students took out student loans totaling more than $245,991.

Including all undergraduates (1,368), 1,061 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.1 million, and 441 students took out $2.9 million in federal student loans.
