Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the D'Jay's Institute of Cosmetology and Esthiology

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the D'Jay's Institute of Cosmetology and Esthiology, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $12,100 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 64 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 14 students received grants or scholarships totaling $51,433 and 14 students took out student loans totaling more than $73,280.

Including all undergraduates (75), 38 students used grants or scholarships totaling $182,870, and 69 students took out $260,475 in federal student loans.
