Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Vanguard College of Cosmetology-Baton Rouge

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Vanguard College of Cosmetology-Baton Rouge, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $16,550 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 88 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 32 students received grants or scholarships totaling $162,950 and 51 students took out student loans totaling more than $487,337.

Including all undergraduates (165), 126 students used grants or scholarships totaling $576,773, and 152 students took out $1.2 million in federal student loans.
