59 percent of applicants to Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University were admitted for fall 2018

At Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, 57 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 83 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Baton Rouge enrolled 1,368 students in fall 2018, including 1,120 in undergraduate and 248 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

87 percent of undergraduates are residents of Louisiana.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (64 percent) and Black or African American (17 percent).

The school admitted 59 percent of the 250 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 56 percent enrolled.
