Southern University’s softball team has secured the No. 2 seed in their division for this year’s Southwestern Athletic Conference Tournament following a record-setting season. The Lady Jaguars open play against Bethune-Cookman on May 5 and look to earn their first SWAC Tournament victory since advancing to the quarterfinals in 2022.
