Southern University’s track and field teams swept both men’s and women’s titles at this year’s SLU Strawberry Relays after standout performances across multiple events on April 18. The Jaguars dominated field events as well as relays to secure their wins over Southeastern Louisiana University hosts.

The LSU women’s tennis team defeated top-ranked Georgia to reach its first SEC Tournament Final ever. Head coach Taylor Fogleman praised his team’s resilience after winning four matches across four days.

Southern University lost narrowly to Grambling in conference softball action on April 18. Despite outhitting their opponent and strong pitching from Chakirrious Parker, late runs cost them the game. The team now prepares to host Prairie View A&M for Senior Weekend.
