In the week ending Dec. 20, 2025, three gas stations in West Baton Rouge Parish sold premium gas at the lowest reported price of $3.09 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of premium gas across the county was $3.25 per gallon.
Among 28 gas stations in cities within West Baton Rouge Parish, seven offered premium gas.
Across Louisiana, the average reported price for a gallon of premium gas fell to $3.27, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration expects global oil stockpiles to keep growing into 2026, a trend that could weigh on crude prices in the near term.
