UCLA has secured the top position in four major national college baseball polls released on March 2, 2026. According to rankings from Baseball America, D1Baseball, Perfect Game, and the Coaches poll, UCLA is ranked first across all these platforms.

LSU follows closely behind, holding the second spot in each of the same four polls. Mississippi State occupies third place in three of the polls but is listed fourth by D1Baseball. Georgia Tech and Texas round out the top five, with some variation in their specific placements depending on the poll.

Other teams making appearances in the top ten include Auburn, North Carolina, Georgia, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. There are slight differences among the polls regarding which teams are included and their exact rankings beyond the top positions.

The rankings also provide a week-by-week comparison for LSU’s performance. LSU began the preseason ranked second by Baseball America and D1Baseball and first by Perfect Game, Coaches poll, and NCBWA. As of March 2, LSU holds steady at number two in all four primary polls.
