There were five American Indian students enrolled in Iberville Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 16.7% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Iberville Parish School District welcomed 4,436 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.

Iberville Parish School District roughly covers schools within Iberville Parish and has a main office in Plaquemine.

Among the seven schools in Iberville Parish School District, Plaquemine Senior High School and Dorseyville Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of two students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.
