There were 295 Hispanic students enrolled in West Baton Rouge Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 10.9% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that West Baton Rouge Parish School District welcomed 4,167 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 7.1% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the district.

West Baton Rouge Parish School District roughly covers schools within West Baton Rouge Parish and has a main office in Port Allen.

Among the 12 schools in West Baton Rouge Parish School District, Caneview K-8 School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 64 students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
