82.3% of East Feliciana Parish residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 19,588 citizens living in East Feliciana Parish in 2021, 82.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 16,117 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 8,976 were male, constituting 55.7%, and 7,141 were female, making up 44.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in East Feliciana Parish during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.4%.
