There were 2,967 Black students enrolled in Iberville Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Iberville Parish School District welcomed 4,436 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 66.9% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Among the seven schools in Iberville Parish School District, Plaquemine Senior High School recorded the highest enrollment of Black students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 756 students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.
