There were 29,087 Black students enrolled in East Baton Rouge Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 0.1% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that East Baton Rouge Parish School District welcomed 41,418 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 70.2% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.
