BRAC Launches 2023 Economic Outlook Survey

Capital Region business community encouraged to participate

Baton Rouge, La. (October 10, 2022) – The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) today opened its 2023 economic outlook survey and invites the Capital Region business community to participate. Responses will be compiled in BRAC’s 2023 Economic Outlook, a decision-making tool for the organization and businesses throughout the nine-parish region. The survey will remain open through Friday, October 21, at brac.org/economicsurvey.

“BRAC’s annual economic forecast has become a critical decision-support tool for businesses of all sizes,” said Adam Knapp, BRAC’s president and CEO. “It all starts with many business owners and leaders telling us about their companies, giving us input on their business outlook and view of the regional economy. We need widespread participation on this – the results help everyone to better plan and prepare.”

The five-question economic outlook survey covers revenue and employment forecasting, and top obstacles related to business growth.

The 2023 Economic Outlook report will be released December 6. The report will be published online at brac.org/research and will offer insights, analysis, and a forecast of the Capital Region’s economy for the upcoming year.

BRAC began producing the annual Economic Outlook in 2007. Since its inception, the report has become the market standard for annual regional economic data.

BRAC’s business intelligence team provides custom research services for businesses. Businesses interested in labor market research, economic impact modeling, demographic and economic data, general research, and consulting should contact Senior Vice President of Business Intelligence Andrew Fitzgerald at andrew@brac.org.
