Of the 4,941 people living in Jackson in 2020, 21.9 percent (1,083) were women and 78.1 percent (3,858) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Baton Rouge Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 2,616. In the 65 and over age range, there were 178 females and 235 males.
