Census Bureau: More women than men in Pointe Coupee Parish in 2020

Of the 21,883 people living in Pointe Coupee Parish in 2020, 51.5 percent (11,260) were women and 48.5 percent (10,623) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Baton Rouge Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 323. In the 65 and over age range, there were 2,555 females and 1,979 males.
