Graduates earn 134 degrees, certificates from Delta College of Arts & Technology

About 94.8 percent of the 134 degrees and certificates handed out by Delta College of Arts & Technology in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Rouge conferred 127 certificates in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in licensed practical/vocational nurse training. Data shows the school gave out 56 certificates in licensed practical/vocational nurse training, followed by 37 certificates in medical/clinical assistant and 20 certificates in dental assisting/assistant.

The college enrolled 252 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
