Nursing Degree Search, an independent online resource for students seeking nursing schools and programs, ranked Southern University School of Nursing as one of the top 10 Best Value Nursing Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Louisiana for 2023.
     
    The School of Nursing is one of the best nursing programs in the country. Established in 1986, the school currently offers four degrees: the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialty in family health; the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in nursing and the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
