Rep. Garret Graves, a U.S. Congressman representing Louisiana’s 6th district since 2015, shared his views on energy policy and leadership in recent social media posts. Born in Baton Rouge in 1972, Graves has a background in the Louisiana House of Representatives before his current congressional role.

On November 16, 2024, Rep. Graves expressed optimism about an addition to the energy team by stating “He will make a great addition to the energy team. There is so much work that needs to be done to get America’s energy policy back on sound footing, this is going to be one of the highest priorities for the nation.”

In another post from the same day, Rep. Graves commended a decision made by President Trump regarding an appointment within the energy sector. He noted “This was an outstanding decision by President Trump. Chris is one of the brightest and most pragmatic energy experts I’ve worked with.”

Additionally, on November 16, 2024, Rep. Graves remarked on a partnership involving Governor Burgum and Mr. Wright by stating “Governor Burgum and Mr. Wright will make a great team.”
