On Saturday, Nov. 15, former St. Michael the Archangel High School standout John Deal’s current collegiate team the North Greenville Crusaders won 34-20 against the UNC Pembroke Braves in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at Younts Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the UNC Pembroke Braves in the tournament.
The North Greenville Crusaders’ next game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. at Pen Air Field.
