No. 20 LSU will host No. 5/3 Oklahoma in a three-game softball series beginning March 27 at Tiger Park, according to a March 26 announcement. This marks the first time the two teams meet as Southeastern Conference opponents.
The matchup is significant as it continues LSU’s challenging stretch against nationally ranked programs and offers an opportunity for the Tigers to break their current losing streak against Oklahoma. The Tigers trail the Sooners in the all-time series but have won more games when playing in Baton Rouge.
The series will open Friday night with coverage by Lyn Rollins and Yvette Girouard on SEC Network+. Saturday and Sunday games will be broadcast on SEC Network and ESPN, respectively, with Roy Philpott and Michele Smith providing commentary.
