The LSU-South Carolina baseball game originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT Friday has been postponed due to a forecast of inclement weather, according to a May 1 announcement from the LSU Tigers.
The postponement affects the schedule for both teams and their fans, as it shifts the series into a doubleheader format on Saturday. This change aims to ensure player safety and maintain the integrity of the series despite challenging weather conditions.
According to the announcement, Game 1 of the series will now take place at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday, followed by Game 2 at 6:30 p.m. CT that same day. Fans are advised to present their Friday game ticket for admission to Saturday’s early game and use their Saturday ticket for entry into the evening matchup.
Game 3 remains scheduled for Sunday at its original time of 2 p.m. CT. All three games will be broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network and streamed live on SEC Network Plus.
This adjustment in scheduling allows both teams an opportunity to complete all games in their series while accommodating fans who planned to attend or tune in over the weekend.
