The LSU athletics department announced on April 30 that Thursday’s softball game between No. 20/19 LSU and Auburn has been rescheduled for a 4 p.m. Central Time start at Tiger Park due to a forecast of inclement weather in the Baton Rouge area.
The change is intended to avoid possible disruptions caused by adverse weather conditions and ensure the safety of players, staff, and fans attending the event.
Originally set for a 6 p.m. start, the matchup was moved two hours earlier as a precautionary measure based on local forecasts predicting unfavorable weather later in the evening.
Fans can listen to Thursday’s game on the LSU Sports Radio Network or watch it via streaming on SEC Network+ as planned.
