LSU Men’s Tennis was named the No. 7 seed in the NCAA Regional and will host Alabama State, Michigan, and Pepperdine at the LSU Tennis Complex with matches beginning on May 1, according to an April 27 announcement.
The event is significant as it marks LSU’s first time hosting regionals since 2009 and its first regional appearance since 2024. This is also only the eighth time in program history that LSU has hosted a regional.
Tickets for the Baton Rouge NCAA Regional are available for $5 for adults and $3 for children aged three to twelve. They can be purchased online under the Tournament Info page. Parking in Lot 411 next to the tennis complex is limited, while lots 408-409 will not be available due to reserved parking for LSU Baseball. Free parking is offered in Hayfield and Gourrier South lots, but all attendees must comply with LSU’s clear-bag policy.
The tournament schedule begins with Michigan facing Pepperdine at 2:00 p.m. Central Time on May 1, followed by No. 7-seeded LSU playing Alabama State at 5:00 p.m. The winners of these two matches will compete on Saturday, May 2 at 5:00 p.m., aiming for a place in the Sweet Sixteen scheduled from May 8-10.
