LSU Men’s Tennis has been ranked sixth in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) preseason coaches poll for the 2026 season. The ranking was determined by votes from head coaches across the league.
The team is positioned in the upper half of the SEC, which is considered one of the most competitive conferences in college tennis. LSU trails five other teams and will have opportunities to compete against them during the upcoming season.
The Tigers’ placement at No. 6 reflects both their recent progress and higher expectations compared to last year. The team’s roster includes returning players as well as new additions, contributing to their improved standing.
LSU will begin its season under head coach Danny Bryan, facing a schedule that features several nationally ranked opponents. The program aims to build momentum during conference play and into postseason competition.
“Entering another year under head coach Danny Bryan, LSU is poised for a strong season ahead with multiple nationally ranked opponents on the schedule, seeking to build momentum throughout conference play and into the postseason.”
