No. 2 LSU Gymnastics will participate in the Podium Challenge quad meet on Sunday, March 1, at the Raising Cane’s River Center in Baton Rouge. The event is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. CT and will feature competition against No. 3 Alabama, No. 17 North Carolina, and Arizona.

The neutral-site meet follows a recent matchup between LSU and Alabama that took place inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC), where an audience of 13,292 attended—a figure ranking as the eighth largest crowd in school history.

There will be no live streaming available for Sunday’s meet. Fans can follow routines and scores through LSU Gymnastics’ social media channels or check live statistics online at mymeetscores.com.

LSU comes into this event after a close victory over Alabama on Friday night with a score of 197.975-197.600. This win extended LSU’s home winning streak to 19 consecutive meets since January 2023. Kailin Chio led the team by earning her third perfect score on beam this season and fifth overall, along with titles in all-around, vault, beam, and floor events during Friday’s competition.

Alabama enters Sunday’s challenge ranked third nationally and is among the top ten teams in every event category across the country. Their current record stands at 5-3 overall and 3-3 within conference play.

North Carolina brings a national ranking of No. 17 into Baton Rouge, holding top-20 positions on vault, beam, and floor events this season with a high team score of 196.750.

Arizona is ranked No. 27 nationally with its highest event rankings being No. 24 on floor and No. 26 on bars; their best team score so far is 196.800.

The Podium Challenge will take place on a raised podium to simulate postseason conditions similar to those found at conference championships or NCAA competitions—an experience intended to prepare teams for upcoming postseason meets.

LSU will open Sunday’s competition on vault before rotating through events following Olympic order.

Following this weekend’s action, LSU will travel to face No. 4 Florida next Sunday at 5 p.m., with coverage available via SEC Network.
