The scheduled dual swimming and diving meet between LSU and SMU, originally planned for Saturday, January 24, has been canceled because of severe weather affecting travel. Both universities’ administrations made the announcement on Thursday.

Despite the cancellation, LSU will proceed with its planned Senior Day activities. The program will honor all seniors on Saturday morning before holding an intrasquad competition starting at 10 a.m. Central Time. Senior Day recognition is set to begin at 9:20 a.m.

LSU’s next competition will be at the SEC Championships in Knoxville, Tennessee, which are scheduled from February 16 to 21.
