LSU women’s basketball and Coach Kim Mulkey announced on April 27 the addition of forward Noa Morro to the Tigers’ roster for the 2026-27 season. Morro, who is from Mallorca, Spain, brings international experience and versatility to the team.

The addition of Morro is seen as a way to strengthen LSU’s frontcourt with a player who has competed at high levels in Europe. Her background in EuroLeague play and recent performance in Spain provide depth and skill that could benefit LSU’s lineup.

“Noa is a player we’re excited to welcome to LSU,” Mulkey said. “She brings size, skill, and versatility to our team, and her ability to step out and shoot the three makes her an exciting fit for the way the game is played today. She has competed at a high level, and we believe Tiger fans are going to love what she brings to this program. We’re excited to see her in purple and gold.”

Morro most recently played for KutxaBank Araski in Spain during the 2025-26 season where she averaged 8 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game over 25 games. She also demonstrated outside shooting ability by converting more than one-third of her three-point attempts this season.

Her connection with former players from Valencia Basket links her journey with LSU’s basketball tradition under Mulkey’s leadership. Additionally, Morro shares a family legacy in basketball; she wore the same jersey number as her mother Sara when they played together on Edbaser Andratx of Women’s League 2 during the 2020-21 season.

Morro has also gained experience playing alongside WNBA talent such as Awa Fam—selected third overall by Seattle Storm—who currently trains with former LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson ahead of their upcoming professional seasons.
