The Jacksonville Dolphins, featuring former Zachary High School basketball standout Kali Howard, were defeated 116-58 by the LSU Lady Tigers in the NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 20.
The matchup was held at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center at 6 p.m.
The LSU-South Carolina baseball game set for Friday has been postponed because of expected bad weather. The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday instead, with all three games available via radio and streaming.
Saturday, May 2 will see these former Baton Rouge Metro area high school stars in competition.
Southern University’s track and field team will compete Friday at South Alabama’s Jaguar Invitational as they prepare for postseason competition. The Jaguars are expected to have strong showings across multiple events including sprints, throws, jumps, and middle distances.
