Center for International Affairs and University Outreach collecting items for Türkiye earthquake relief

The Southern University Center for International Affairs and University Outreach is collecting essential items for the people of Türkiye in the wake of the deadly earthquakes that struck the country in early February. Millions of people have been affected and many remain homeless.

The Center is accepting winter tents, sleeping bags and winter blankets. Donations can be dropped off on the second floor of the J.S. Clark Administration Annex through Thursday, Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. For more information, contact dean Barbara Carpenter at barbara_carpenter@subr.edu.
