LSU School of Veterinary Medicine announced expanded efforts addressing animal health challenges unique to Louisiana’s environment. The school outlined new facilities for wildlife care along with continued partnerships supporting disease prevention statewide.

Tristan Ilgenfritz transitioned from hairstyling to studying geology at Louisiana State University after seeking greater fulfillment in life. Now involved in research projects both locally and internationally, he encourages others not to let fear prevent them from pursuing new paths.

Southern University EDGE has joined a new national initiative focused on expanding collegiate esports at historically Black colleges and universities. The program offers expanded opportunities for student-gamers through partnerships with PlayVS and Urban One.
